- Ganaabhyasa
Ganaabhyasa is a Carnatic Music Workshop for Carnatic Vocal students and music enthusiasts. This is the pioneer programme for Carnatic Vocal at NSCBICC which will be conducted by the Carnatic Vocal Teacher of NSCBICC. The workshop is aimed at developing vocal skills of the participants by conducting various vocal exercises for singers (Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced Levels) to transform their singing to well-rounded vocal practitioners.The duration of the workshop is 36 hours, which will start from 9.00 am – 12.00 pm every first, second and third Saturdays for 12 weeks.
The meaning of ‘Ganaabhyasa’ is ‘Practice of Vocal Music’. The Focus of this workshop will be given to singing each Raaga with Ragaalapana sessions, Neraval and Manodharma Swara sessions, application of these in different Kritis, Taala development via Manodharma Swaras and singing in Edam is also given ample importance. The workshop will be very useful for vocal practitioners for improving their singing levels and attaining versatility and enhancing knowledge levels through the masterclass and interactive sessions. - Rangaabhyasa
Rangabhyasa is a platform for encouraging promising talents in Indian Classical Performing Arts and Music. This monthly series proudly organised by NSCBICC has lineup of captivating Carnatic Vocal recital and mesmerising classical dance performances. As it says ‘practice makes a man perfect’, event like Rangabhyasa is essential to promote and cherish Indian Music and Dance.
