The Sacred Structures Painting Exhibition with a collection of more than 400 artworks of Hindu temples in seven countries of Southeast Asia, India and England. The artworks have been produced by 16 established Malaysian artists was officially launched. These paintings were exhibited in some of the best of the galleries in Malaysia. Again, this treat is ready to be served by NSCBICC to its followers, members & visitors from 24th of December 2022, until 16th of January 2023 and the founder of the sacred structures, Prof. Dr Krishna Gopal Rampal will feature 24 select works from The Sacred Structures Collection.
On 24th of December 2022, NSCBICC Kuala Lumpur is delighted to honour 5 artists who were declared as the winners for Pratibha Sangam Competition, a mega initiative by the ICCR, first ever global competition under its aegis, for performers around the world in the categories of Indian Classical Music and Dances.Mr. A K Ravishankar Karunakaran won First Prize in Carnatic lnstrumental (Nadaswaram) category, Ms. Vinitha Balrama secured First Prize in Odissi Dance Category, Mr. Ahelen Devandran – Carnatic lnstrumental (violin) Category, Ms. Kim Khoo for Kathak Dance Category and Mr. Nantha Kumar Ravie Chandran for Bharatnatyam Category won Seconf Prizes respectively. The event was officiated by Mr. OMS P. Thiagarajan.
High Commission in partnership with PEPTIM (Malaysian Association for Indian Traditional Medicine) and Cansurive Malaysia, celebrated Ayurveda Day 2022 in Malaysia on 29th of October,2022 at Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Indian Cultural Centre, Kuala Lumpur under Amrit Mahotsav celebrations and 65 years of India-Malaysia diplomatic ties.
Heartfulness Malaysia together with Singapore is celebrating 45 years of its presence in Malaysia and Singapore, along with 25 years as a registered organisation. This joyous and momentous double celebration of Sapphire Anniversary and Silver Jubilee Anniversary is celebrated under the theme of “Heartfulness Malaysia advancing with Inner Wellness and Harmony” from 13th August to 14th August 2022 at Chorus Paradise Resort, Port Dickson, Malaysia. This seminar is a tribute to Pujya Babuji Maharaj’s vision of seeding and growth of Heartfulness in this region.

India @75 Also celebrates 65 years of bilateral relations with Malaysia. “The relations between India and Malaysia and the people of India and Malaysia is not just a bilateral relation, but a civilisational relation’ says Malaysian Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Abdullah. Malaysia and India have shared very strong and deep relations for years which is rooted in its people, culture & tradition.On 9th of September 2022, @KLConventionCentre Indian High Commission in Malaysia celebrated India – Malaysia 65 in which Indian Council for Cultural Relations, New Delhi sponsored Bharatanatyam troupe from India, Sri Rama Nataka Niketana led by Guru Smt Manjula Ramasamy gave a stellar performance and enthralled the audience.
On 23rd of August 2022, Taylor’s University in association with Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Indian Cultural Centre, High Commission of India, celebrated International Yoga Day with a theme of “Yoga for Health And Wellness of Humanity”.

A workshop of making Lord Ganesh murti and also a painting competition with the subject *Aazadi Ka Amrit Mohotsav was conducted by Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Indian Cultural Centre in collaboration with Maharashtra Mandal Malaysia on Sunday 28th of August 2022. The event was conducted successfully. Kids enjoyed it a lot. Many of them promised to make the idol every year at their home. This really achieves our purpose of making eco friendly idols and also making kids aware of our culture. Having such initiatives creates the close association & proud feeling about our culture.

Pratibha Sangam, the First Ever Global Competition on Indian Music and Dance by ICCR, New Delhi. It is a mega confluence of talents and – the first of its kind under its aegis, for performers under the categories of Indian classical Music and Dances. This competition shall be judged by a stellar jury drawn from leading exponents of these performing Arts in India. Winners at International level would be invited to India for live performance at events to be organized in India in the coming days.
