12th to 14th May 2011 : The Indian Cultural Centre, High Commission of India, Kuala Lumpur celebrated 150 Birth Anniversary of Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore in Penang and Kuala Lumpur. A number of cultural events were organized, including Exhibitions on Life and Paintings of Tagore, Cultural performance of Rabindra Sangeet by Ms. Pramita Mallick and Group, Reading Sessions, Lectures, etc. On this occasion, the following prominent cultural events were organized in Penang and Kuala Lumpur

13th - 31st May 2011 : An Exhibition on “Paintings (Digital Prints) of Rabindranath Tagore” at Hu Yew Seah, 45 Madras Lane, George Town, Penang.

Exhibitions of Photographs on Little India, Penang by Dr. Ooi Cheng and Life of Rabindranath Tagore at Galeri Seni Mutiara, Whiteaways Arcade (Beach Street), Penang.

13th May 2011: An Evening of Rabindra Sangeet by Ms. Pramita Mallick & group from India, at Khoo Khonsi in Penang.

14th May 2011: An Evening of Rabindra Sangeet by Ms. Pramita Mallick & group from India, at ICC, Kuala Lumpur
